1. PAYMENT VERIFICATION

“PAYMENT ADDRESS, ZIP CODE AND CVC CODE MUST MATCH OR PAYMENT WILL BE BLOCKED.”

To prevent fraud, all payments undergo automated verification. If information does not match, the transaction will be declined. Blocked transactions may appear as pending authorizations for up to 24 hours or longer depending on your bank.

2. REFUND POLICY — ALL SALES FINAL

“ACCESS TO OUR SECOND CHANCE HOUSING Catalog IS NON-REFUNDABLE.”

All products and services offered by SecondChanceApartments.org are non‑refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Digital catalogs

  • Membership access

  • Research services

  • Credit‑related services

  • Any non‑tangible digital product

Customers must contact us before purchasing if they have questions: help@support2nd.com

Access to listings is limited to 30 days. Membership fees are one‑time and non‑recurring.

3. CREDIT REPORT SERVICES

By using any service related to credit reports, you authorize SecondChanceApartments.org to contact credit bureaus on your behalf.

This Site is an advertising and research platform, not a housing provider, broker, agent, or intermediary. We are not affiliated with any other website using the phrase “second chance.”

5. NATURE OF SERVICES — NO GUARANTEES

“SECOND CHANCE APARTMENTS .ORG OPERATES THE SITE AS AN ONLINE ADVERTISING AND RESEARCH SERVICE… secondchanceapartments.org DOES NOT BROKER, LEASE, OR SUBLEASE APARTMENTS DIRECTLY…”

We do not:

  • Guarantee housing approval

  • Verify landlord policies

  • Broker or negotiate leases

  • Collect rent or deposits

  • Represent landlords or renters

  • Guarantee accuracy of listings

All rental decisions are made solely by the individual property manager or landlord.

6. USER RESPONSIBILITY

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying listing accuracy

  • Inspecting properties in person

  • Confirming rental policies

  • Avoiding scams

  • Protecting personal information

We strongly recommend never sending money or personal information without verifying the legitimacy of the property.

  • Policy changes

  • Approval criteria

  • Market conditions

All services are informational only.

15. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

All disputes must be filed individually in Cook County, Illinois.

16. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.
