Qualifications

1. Monthly Income

Your income or the combined income of everyone on lease must equal 3 times the rental amount.

Example: An apartment with a rental amount of $1,000 per month requires a monthly income of $3,000. 

2 Your background is typically checked for the last 7 years for felonies. While misdemeanor charges aren't normally checked each complex may have separate policies for misdemeanors. A non violent felony may not necessarily disqualify you, you should check with the individual property manager for verification.

3. Past Rental History

You will need 2 years of good rental history, if you have been living with a relative you will need to list their full name, address, phone and email (As Your Landlord) on your rental applications.

Past Broken Lease?

Any past negative rental history will need to be at least 2 years old. 3 years old at some locations

Credit Score: as low as 500.
